All our branches have a fully equipped vet lab station. We have state-of-the-art diagnostic machines, modern microscopes, and other accessory laboratory machines. Complete hematology and biochemistry blood profile results are ready in 20 minutes, while other reliable rapid tests for the most common infectious diseases (parvovirus, Ehrlichia, felv/fiv) can provide us with results in 8-10 minutes.

In addition to testing for the disease in an unwell patient, we also offer diagnostic blood tests before your pet receives an anesthetic to ensure that we identify any unknown problems, to check the kidney and liver functions before the induction of anesthesia, and to help us ensure the anesthetic is as safe as possible. UNDERSTANDING BLOOD TESTS
Why do pets need blood tests?
Regular vet checks, routine worming administration, and a proper & healthy diet are all necessary for our beloved pets. However, these things alone can’t always reveal how their internal organs are functioning. Blood tests are among the most diagnostic of all animal health checks because they can provide accurate and timely information about the health of our patients.
Why is blood test essential?
Blood tests reveal pet organs’ functions, the condition of the immune system, and the presence of a disease. Some diagnostic blood tests can stimulate or suppress an organ to look into its function more precisely. There are even newer tests available now that can look at your pet’s genetics for specific diseases or the presence of infections. Other tests can look at the function of the liver, kidneys, and pancreas as a whole. Enzyme levels can also be tested, which will indicate potential muscle damage and inflammation. Blood cell counts are also tested, which will reveal hydration status, anemia, inflammation or infection, and your pet’s immune system responses.
Why is it necessary to run a blood test for my pet?
There are many reasons your pet may need or require a blood test. For many, blood tests are used to identify potential problems before anesthesia use, screen or identify breed-specific disease, or monitor the effects of specific drug therapies.

How often do blood tests need to be done?
The age and the overall health condition of your pet will usually be enough to determine the need to perform a blood test. It is always recommended that blood tests be completed before anesthetics, especially if a problem is suspected during pre-consultation visits. As pets age much faster than humans, an annual blood screening for developing conditions is highly recommended.
