Dr. Sherif El Sherif

Dr. Sherif El Sherif, GPCert(Cardio)

Dr. Sherif is a Veterinarian and Medical Director with a special focus on small animal cardiology. Since starting his veterinary career in 2011, he has gained extensive experience in general practice, emergency care, internal medicine, surgery, and the diagnosis and management of heart disease in dogs and cats.

He holds a General Practitioner Certificate in Cardiology, GPCert(Cardio), and has completed additional advanced training in small animal echocardiography.

His cardiology work includes echocardiography, ECG interpretation, assessment of heart murmurs and arrhythmias, pre-anaesthetic cardiac evaluation, and the long-term management of congenital and acquired heart conditions.

As Medical Director, Dr. Sherif also oversees clinical standards, medical protocols, case management, and the development of the veterinary team at The City Vet Clinic Abu Dhabi.

His approach is practical, compassionate, and evidence-based, with a strong focus on clear communication, patient comfort, and quality of life.
